What to Expect in an Evidential Mediumship Reading

A grounded starting point for your curiosity.

Mediumship is a spiritual practice in which someone explores possible communication with people who have died. An evidential mediumship reading centers on details that the sitter can consider and recognize. Rather than starting with your loved one’s story, I share impressions as they arise and ask you to respond honestly. You do not have to make a detail fit. “I don’t know” is a useful answer.

How the session begins

We take a moment to settle in and explain how we will work together. I share impressions and specific details first. You can say whether something makes sense, does not, or is uncertain. I may ask for a simple yes, no, or unsure, but I do not need a biography in advance.

What counts as evidence?

Evidence may involve a personality trait, shared memory, relationship, object, or circumstance that feels distinctive to you. Recognition is personal; a detail that sounds broad to one person may be specific to another. You remain free to assess each impression and the whole experience for yourself.

How should I prepare?

Find a private, comfortable place where you can talk. Please do not send names, photographs, or identifying stories before the appointment. If speaking privately to a loved one beforehand feels meaningful, you can invite them to join us in your own way. This is optional and cannot guarantee a connection.

What if the person I hope for does not come through?

No particular person, message, or result can be promised. It is okay to feel disappointed or to need time to reflect. The session is not a substitute for grief support or mental health care.
